Volunteer for House #19

Your Skills and Generosity are Needed!

The Wisconsin Rapids Area Habitat for Humanity is preparing to build its 19th house this year. The task of building a new house is no small order, and it takes skill and enormous community cooperation. We are seeking a variety of volunteers. Our greatest need is for professional roofers, electricians, plumbers, drywallers and heating/cooling aficionados.

During the building process, we also seek volunteers that would like to help with other tasks, such as hanging wallboard, painting, washing windows, or cleaning up. Another way to help would be to provide bottled water or meals to the volunteers, once or periodically.

All this donation of your skills, talent and time goes toward making a difference in the life of a local family. The family that will buy this home from Habitat will have a mortgage and all the responsibilities that go along with being a homeowner. Volunteers enable and empower us to build an affordable Habitat home for a family.

We are extending an invitation to you to join us in building this affordable home. The amount of time donated depends on you. If you, or someone you know, would like more information on volunteering, please contact us at the WRA Habitat for Humanity number: 715-422-1925.

Previous experience isn't required, and you can volunteer however much time works for you. Please contact us for more information or to learn how to get started.
